Dr. Tushar Pishe completed 3 years of a Biology degree at the University of New Brunswick prior to obtaining his MD at Dalhousie University in 1999.  He subsequently completed a family medicine residency and CCFP(EM) residency at Dalhousie until 2002.

Academic EM Interests

Dr. Pishe has been interested in medical education for a number of years.  He specifically enjoys clinical teaching, lecturing, and seeing students progress and gain confidence.  He is the site director of the emergency department ultrasound program and is enthusiastic about leading this site in training clinicians, residents and in conducting research in EDUS.

Dr. Tushar Pishe has been dedicated to the EMS system and currently serves as Medical Oversight Physician South Zone for Ambulance New Brunswick. His specific interests include protocol development, paramedic education and advancing the scope of practice in New Brunswick.


Tushar has been training in Kung fu for over a decade and is a Food Network junkie. He most enjoys spending time travelling with his family.
