Summary:
To asses the impact of a PoCUS shock protocol (ACES) on survival and key clinical outcomes in patients presenting to an Emergency Dept with undifferentiated shock. This planned interim analysis of 142 patients has shown no difference in either 7-day or 30-day mortality between the PoCUS and control groups. There may be some early diagnostic benefits and more patients are required to definitely answer the study question.
